Psalm 100
A psalm. For giving grateful praise.
1 Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
2 Worship the Lord with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
3 Know that the Lord is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his[a];
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.
AME IHC Farm and Garden Initiative (launch video – https://youtu.be/c1ioSsEAW6A) provides important resources and training to address food insecurity and food injustice. Farms and gardens produce an abundance of healthy food that can be shared in communities and cities experiencing food deserts, lack access to fresh produce, ability to feed the hungry, and disaster relief food supplies. A US-wide (and in the future global) map of farms and gardens in the AME Church connection and other faith-based communities is currently in development to create a sustainable nationwide food supply network and teach the economic and health benefits of local farms and gardens. It is the vision that this will allow for increased use of Culinary Rx.
